Fennel is traditionally used to help ease muscular and rheumatic pain and discomfort. It acts as a rubefacient, helping improve the circulation to the affected area and slowly reduces the inflammation associated with these conditions.
It has also traditionally been used to help ease the inflammation associated with conditions of the eyes and eyelids.
Application: Ointments, creams, compresses, poultices and liniments.
