Menthol crystals are important both as a fragrance ingredient and as an active to help cool the skin. The oil is extracted via steam distillation and then dried to form the crystals.

Menthol Crystals contribute a cooling sensation to the skin, calm irritation, itching, and burning, eliminate blackheads and whiteheads, diminish the appearance of dark spots and age spots, and promote clearer skin.

Menthol crystals have a much more intense and rich aroma than the essential oil.

Odour: Strong, Fresh minty aroma.

Solubility: Menthol Crystals are quite waxy and are best solubilised in alcohol or other essential oils.

Origin: Natural - Made and Grown in India.
