Progeline has been found to decrease the production of progerin, a protein in skin that speeds up cellular ageing. By decreasing the production of progerin, the youthful appearance of the skin is maintained.
In a panel test of 10 volunteers, a cream containing 2% Progeline was found to significantly decrease the volume of the jawlines after 28 days when compared against a placebo cream.
Appearance: Aqueous solution, odourless and colourless.
Application: Improves skin firmness and elasticity.
Solubility: Water.
Optimum pH for efficacy of final product: 4-6
Dose: 0.2-2%
Processing Tips: Best added at the end of formulating when the product has cooled to 40C or less.
