This is a water soluble cosmetic active for skin lightening and complexion brightening.
Anti-Ageing: As the skin ages, there can be a tendency for skin cells to shed more slowly, leaving the complexion dulled due to oxidised melanin. This active helps to prevent the oxidation of melanin, thus helping to keep the skin looking brighter and more youthful.
Acne/Blemish: Visible acne marks and scarring can be reduced by the application of an antioxidant rich skin whitening complex such as this.
Whitening: Whitening of the complexion is achieved via preventing oxidation of melanin, thus reducing the potential for an uneven complexion and marking.
Add to the base when the temperature has fallen below 60C, and preferably when cold.
As the active is water soluble, it should be added either to the water phase or to an oil in water emulsion towards the end of manufacture. The product should be stored in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight.
